Custom Products and Services Bioassay
Live spiders and insects	A variety of spiders have been provided for ecotoxicological studies on a custom basis, including wolf, lynx, cellar and house spiders. Please inquire. We may have what you need in stock or may be able to produce what you need through breeding. Spider Pharm also sells fruit flies and houseflies but these are wild types, not defined stock, which are typically used for toxicology.
Bioassays	Spider Pharm is primarily interested in the effects of venoms on natural prey and does injection assays of toxins and venoms periodically, typically against cultivated or collected insects and spiders. We may also be able to help with the development of other types of ecotoxicological assays of or in the characterization of novel toxins.
